Naples Market Brings Back Spring Speaker Series in a New Home
Meristem news
The Naples office of Meristem welcomed back its Spring Speaker series in March and April after a 2-year hiatus due to the covid pandemic. The speaker series was also a chance to celebrate the new office location in Naples and welcome clients and friends through the doors post-pandemic.
The first event in this speaker series was held in late March. Meristem’s Managing Director, David Legus, and Senior Client Advisor, Barb Quasius, welcomed global art consultant Marlissa Garder of Emillions Art. During her presentation, Marlissa traced the evolution of art from the Old Masters to NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
In mid-April Kristen Coury, CEO and Producing Artistic Director of the Gulfshore Playhouse spoke of her journey in bringing Broadway equivalent productions to SW Florida and the exciting plans the Theatre has for the coming year.
Both events were held in Meristem’s new Naples office attended by clients and friends of the firm. Meristem’s initial office opened in Naples in 2015. Due to growth and market-related investments, staff and operations moved into a new space in late December of 2021. The new location is at 800 Laurel Oak Drive, near the Waterside Shops. Justin Ford of Ford’s Experience served as the general contractor, interior design was led by David Fruscione of Republic of Décor, and custom art is provided by Roy Clark.
